Print Centre UK invests with The Finishing Point
The Print Centre in Warrington, Cheshire has chosen The Finishing Point Ltd as it's provider of a new Duplo line of booklet making equipment.
Steve Director of the Print Centre says "We had a bottle neck in our system when it came to creasing and booklet making and we needed to resolve this quickly. Our large Heidleberg speedmaster press works at such a rate that a bottleneck is difficult to clear when outsourcing so we decided to bring everything in house".
The Finshing Point Ltd took Steve and his team to IPEX 2010 and demonstrated the very latest in Duplo's large volume booklet finishing systems, Steve was so impressed he made his decision on the stand that day.
Steve says "During IPEX we looked at all the booklet making companies and decided Duplo with The Finishing Point was a strong partnership offering the best equipment. By using a single source supplier we can guarantee quality and ensure efficient throughput. The system 5000 is now installed and we have already churned out well over 100,000 books with most of the covers going through our DuCreaser 445, this combination is very strong and highly recommended".
